Netflix will release People We Meet on Vacation on January 9. The film follows Alex (Tom Blyth) and Poppy (Emily Bader), whose friendship becomes a situationship across continents and TSA lines. Poppy expresses that vacations allow people to be anyone they want and vows to travel with Alex every summer. Each annual trip challenges their romantic tension alongside sunscreen and navigation skills. The film is directed by Brett Haley and written by Yulin Kuang. The preview includes a skinny-dipping moment and the couple's promise to maintain their yearly travel tradition.
