OUTshine Film Festival shares LGBTQ+ stories, unites communities and throws one heck of a party
Briefly

"We have such a great audience, so accepting of film in general, all kinds of film. Not everything is going to appeal to everybody, but something is going to appeal to everybody." Joe Bilancio, OUTshine's director of programming, emphasizes the diverse appeal of films presented at the festival, acknowledging the challenge of satisfying various tastes while ensuring a broad spectrum of stories is shared.
"We also think it's going to provide an opportunity to bring these communities together. We like to say that film is always more fun with friends." Festival director Allen Martello highlights the importance of community and connection fostered by the festival, suggesting that shared experiences through film can bridge gaps between different audiences.
