On April 2, Film Independent and MUBI announced a live reading of "Cruel Intentions," directed by Julio Torres and featuring a star-studded cast including Amy Sedaris and Julia Fox. Set to take place at the Directors Guild of America New York Theatre on April 7, the reading promises a unique take on the original film, with composer Lia Rusli providing live scores.
