Rob Reiner and his wife were found dead at their Los Angeles home and authorities are investigating the incident as an apparent homicide. Emergency responders arrived shortly after 3:30pm (23:30 GMT) and discovered a 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman dead inside. Investigators believe the pair suffered stab wounds and a family member was being questioned. Reiner was a director and actor whose films included When Harry Met Sally, This Is Spinal Tap, The Princess Bride and Stand by Me; he co-starred in All in the Family. Reiner married photographer Michele in 1989 and they had three children. A tribute noted his creative work and advocacy for social and economic justice.
