Slovenian filmmaker Sonja Prosenc is preparing her fourth feature, an untitled drama about sisterhood and female liberation that unfolds in Slovenia and Italy.
The film is structured like a puzzle, where the narrative arranges each piece until it gradually constructs the worlds of three women, converging their separate lives.
Prosenc describes the movie as exploring themes of freedom, sisterhood, and the unpredictable power of chance encounters, set against societal constraints.
In terms of her artistic evolution, Prosenc indicated that this project falls somewhere between the tragicomic "Family Therapy" and her earlier films.
