Predator: Badlands positions the Predator as the central protagonist in a meaner, deadlier chapter of the franchise. Elle Fanning plays a Weyland‑Yutani synthetic who teams with a Predator to hunt the galaxy’s deadliest creature, but both become hunted on a planet teeming with lethal life. The Predator is presented emoting and vulnerable, and the alliance between an android and a Yautja foregrounds contrasting personalities and upbringings forced to collaborate on a perilous journey. The film was directed by Dan Trachtenberg and is scheduled to premiere in theaters Nov. 7, with related titles available on Hulu.
