BBC has decided to withdraw the documentary titled Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home from its schedule shortly before its airing date of August 18th. A spokesperson stated that new transmission details will be confirmed. This special was initially part of a series documenting Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne's return to the UK and was edited into a one-hour film following Ozzy's passing on July 22nd. Clare Sillery expressed hope that the documentary would provide comfort to fans as they remember his life.
The film captures an intimate glimpse into their journey as they prepare to return to the UK. It features family moments, humor, reflection and shows the enduring spirit that made Ozzy a global icon.
The BBC had been given access to the late metal legend and his family as part of a planned multi-part series titled Home to Roost that was set to chronicle his and wife Sharon's move from Los Angeles back to England.
