Jack Sivan, a small tailored clothing business owner in Brooklyn, gained significant exposure when actor Ato Essandoh wore one of his custom tuxedos at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. The tuxedo, featuring a cropped blue jacket and long pleated skirt, impressed peers and highlighted Sivan's work. Alongside this publicity, Sivan secured his first wholesale account with Ford General in Chicago, where pieces from his ready-to-wear line will soon be available. As he navigates this growth, Sivan reflects on the possibilities beyond his home-based business.

Mr. Sivan has been running a small tailoring and men's wear business out of his Brooklyn apartment... Recent events made him consider working elsewhere.
