Mendy partially wins unpaid wages case vs. City
Briefly

"Mr. Mendy is entitled to recover some, but not all, of the sums claimed," Judge Joanne Dunlop stated, clarifying the criteria for wage recovery based on his periods of custody.
"Having had to wait for 3 years for my wages, I am delighted with the decision and sincerely hope that the Club will now do the honourable thing and pay the outstanding amounts," Mendy expressed.
Judge Dunlop highlighted that Mendy was held in custody for about five months of the claim period but was otherwise ready and willing to work.
City's legal team contended that Mendy’s wages were withheld because he could not perform his duties due to custody and bail conditions during his trial.
