Valencia have sacked head coach Ruben Baraja after just two wins in 17 La Liga matches this season, leaving the team 19th in the table.
The decision to fire Baraja has been labeled as difficult by the club, which recognized him as 'one of the greatest legends' in the team's history.
Baraja, who had returned to the club in February 2023, helped secure the team’s survival last season but ultimately leaves with a poor current record.
The former Spain international's management tenure came to an end following a 2-2 draw against Alaves, as they struggled to avoid relegation.
