Bologna have confirmed the appointment of Vincenzo Italiano as the club's new head coach, succeeding Thiago Motta. Italiano signed a two-year deal as Bologna head into the Champions League next season after finishing fifth in Serie A.
Italiano left his role at Fiorentina, where he reached successive Europa League Conference finals but suffered defeats. He also guided Fiorentina to the 2022-23 Coppa Italia final, where they were beaten by Inter.
