Cake mix, with a can of lemon lime soda poured on top, adds sweetness to the dessert, and the cake mix creates a nice topping for the dump cake.
The filling is a little thinner than other dump cakes we've tried, but it was tasty with a little whipped cream on top. A scoop of vanilla ice cream would be lovely too.
We used a 3 pound bag of berries and suggest not using anything smaller than a 2 pound bag.
