Volvo is integrating more than 20,000 Tesla Supercharger stations across 29 European countries into its own smartphone app. Starting in the fourth quarter of this year, Volvo EV drivers will be able to manage and pay for Supercharger sessions using the Volvo app instead of the Tesla app. The added charging points expand Volvo’s existing charging network access, which already includes over 1.2 million plugs in Europe and 120,000 chargers in North America. Many Superchargers have previously been available to non-Tesla EVs, but Volvo drivers will now use Volvo’s app experience for charging. All current Volvo EVs with native CCS2 charging ports will be supported.
