London-based legal tech startup Augmetec raised over £2M in seed funding, led by Fuel Ventures. This investment comes amid a rise in corporate investigations due to increased regulations and improper conduct. Augmetec aims to address the slow and costly nature of ethics and compliance investigations by leveraging AI and automation. The funding will support client growth, product development, and global expansion, as well as strengthen partnerships and enhance the LEIAA platform. Notable investors include Swiss fund 14Peaks Capital and several industry angel investors.
