"The EIB loan is a fantastic verification of our technology, as well as an enabler for faster expansion in Europe," says Chromafora CEO Johan Seijmer. "In addition to Sweden, we have already established units in Belgium and will soon establish in more European markets."
Chromafora’s SELPAXT technology eliminates over 90 percent of PFAS substances from water streams, efficiently targeting short and long-chain PFAS with a combination of ultrafiltration and proprietary chemical processes.
Both SELPAXT and SELMEXT technologies aim to remove contaminants and recover valuable materials, demonstrating Chromafora's commitment to environmental sustainability and efficient resource management.
The €22.5M EIB financing will support the development of water-treatment units across Europe, a pivotal step in addressing the urgent demand for PFAS wastewater treatment.
