Entrepreneurship and innovation are catalysts for change. They're what drives me. This sentiment perfectly encapsulates the vision that Lars Crama has for transforming Rotterdam into a startup haven.
In 2015, I decided to focus my time and energy on innovation ecosystems by working extensively in Amsterdam to help build corporate innovation programs across 10 countries.
From the beginning, we've taken a regional approach, including Delft and its Technical University, which has been an essential source of innovation and talent. This collaborative mindset has invigorated our efforts significantly.
In the summer of 2019, we brought together 30 key stakeholders for a pizza session, where we laid the groundwork for what would evolve into Up!Rotterdam.
