Delft-based Villari secures 4M funding - Silicon Canals
Briefly

Villari, a Delft-based company focused on developing sensors for crack detection, has raised €4M from FORWARD.one and InnovationQuarter Capital to strengthen its market presence in Europe and expand internationally. Founded in 2019, Villari's patented technology allows for constant monitoring of structural integrity in assets like bridges and cranes, ensuring safety and prolonging the lifespan of these critical infrastructures. The investment follows increasing global demand for their monitoring solutions, allowing rapid deployment across various markets while helping to prevent costly downtimes for asset owners.
The timing of this additional funding is perfect and enables us to quickly roll out our sensors across Europe as we take the first steps toward global expansion.
Villari has developed sensor tech that detects tiny fractures in steel structures, crucial for heavily loaded assets like bridges and industrial cranes.
