Taoiseach Simon Harris outlines goal to improve ties with Northern Ireland as ministerial council meets in Dublin
Briefly

The latest plenary meeting of the North South Ministerial Council aims to strengthen co-operation between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland following the restoration of the Assembly.
I look forward to hosting my first plenary meeting of the North South Ministerial Council as Taoiseach. It presents an excellent opportunity to strengthen north-south cooperation.
We have milestones reached on a number of north-south and all-island projects such as the Narrow Water Bridge and the Ulster Canal.
This meeting provides a platform to identify opportunities for improving day-to-day life through practical north-south co-operation and government engagement.
