Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized on X, "The UAE will not support any post-war plans in Gaza unless there is a legitimate pathway to a Palestinian state. Without this, we cannot participate in any initiatives conceived from the Israeli perspective, which lacks engagement with the true aspirations of the Palestinian people."
UAE officials clearly articulated their stance, stating, "Our involvement is contingent upon the establishment of a Palestinian government that embodies the justice, integrity, and independence desired by the Palestinian people, and only then can we consider providing support."
The UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified, "We refuse to entertain any plans that would act as a facade for the ongoing Israeli occupation over Gaza, emphasizing the necessity for a legitimate Palestinian state for any meaningful progress to occur."
In late July, the UAE underscored the urgency of a comprehensive humanitarian response, stating, "It is imperative for an international mission to be deployed to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza to ensure both humanitarian support and the enduring peace that follows."
