More than 110,000 people have been forced to evacuate in Russia and Kazakhstan after fast-melting snow swelled the Ural River, causing it to burst its banks and flood cities along its path.
Both countries have declared a state of emergency as the Ural River continues to rise, with unprecedented flooding affecting regions such as Orenburg and Kurgan.
