"It's painful but my opinion is clear I am on the side of Ukraine.It is not the time to shake hands with Russian athletes.It's not ethical," said Gunta Vaicule, a Latvian sprinter and Chairwoman of the Athletes' Commission of the Latvian Olympic Committee (LOK).The 27-year old is currently preparing for the Games in Paris next year, but the discussion about Russian and Belarusian athletes potentially competing in the world's biggest sporting event makes Vaicule's blood run cold.
