Germany to propose new sanctions against Russia after death of Alexei Navalny

We will propose new sanctions in light of the death of Alexei Navalny.

I am proposing to EU member states to rename our global human rights sanctions regime the 'Navalny regime'. To honour his memory, for his name to be written on the work of the EU in the defence of human rights around the world.
