Danish Culture Minister praised the public for helping save art treasures from the burning Old Stock Exchange. Valuable paintings were rescued and taken to safety.
'We have been able to rescue a lot,' said Brian Mikkelsen, chief of the Danish Chamber of Commerce. He described the event as a national disaster.
