Bridgette McAdoo joined Genesys in 2020 after an engineering career at NASA and sustainability roles at Yum! Brands and the Worldwide Fund for Nature. She holds an engineering degree and an MBA from the Drucker School of Management, applying empirical, science-based and business perspectives to problem solving. At Genesys she integrates sustainability into business KPIs with transparency and measurable outcomes, embedding sustainability into innovation and operations. McAdoo notes a shift since 2008 toward formalised strategies and concrete practice, while warning that regional inconsistencies and widespread misinformation about sustainability now present new challenges to progress.
