Enzo Maresca confirmed Nicolas Jackson will miss Chelsea’s trip to West Ham while exploring a move away from the club. Aston Villa and Newcastle United are among clubs interested in signing the 24-year-old striker, who is valued at around £60m. Chelsea strengthened the forward line by signing João Pedro and Liam Delap for a combined £90m and are willing to consider selling Jackson this summer. Christopher Nkunku faces similar transfer speculation but is training with the first team. Ben Chilwell and Raheem Sterling are training separately as they seek moves, and Wesley Fofana has returned after hamstring surgery.
He is available but he is not going to be part of the squad because as we already said, we have two strikers, two players in that position and also we know that something can happen before the transfer window closes.
No idea to be honest, no idea. You know already from last season that I prefer to be focused on the training sessions, preparing the game and these kind of things, I don't know.
