Manchester City is in advanced talks to sign Divin Mubama, a former West Ham striker whose contract expired in June, albeit a compensation fee needs agreement.
The 19-year-old England Under-20 international has opted for a move to Manchester City over various European clubs and is set to agree on personal terms.
Mubama, who has been with West Ham since age 10, made 18 first-team appearances but is expected to continue his development in City's Under-21s squad.
If Manchester City and West Ham cannot agree on a compensation fee for Mubama, an arbitration process will be required to settle the development fee.
