Greatfields School in King Edward's Road apologised after sparking outrage over the banner that it admitted was a Year 10 pupil's conceptual art project.
A spokesperson for the school mentioned that the banner was an ill-judged decision and was removed immediately as it was not sanctioned by the school.
Metropolitan Police reported threats towards school staff after the incident. They assured that all allegations would be fully investigated.
The school clarified that they are inclusive and the banner did not reflect the school's views. They expressed regret, stating the matter was under full investigation.
