School Districts From Philadelphia to Boston Announce Closures and Delays

Although the storm is not predicted to linger, it will bring strong winds and coastal flooding to some areas, and school officials are not taking the impending weather lightly.
Farther south in Edison, public schools are operating on a delayed opening. Philadelphia's school district is operating on a two-hour delay. Some surrounding districts, including Pottstown School District and Upper Merion Area School District plan to have virtual learning days. Dozens of schools around Connecticut are closed Tuesday, including Hartford and New Haven Public Schools. Farther north in Massachusetts, Boston Public Schools are closed, along with public schools in Plymouth and Salem.
