The pupil challenged a ban on prayer rituals at Michaela Community School, claiming discrimination and breach of religious freedom, which was dismissed by the High Court judge Mr Justice Linden.
The school's legal team argued the ban was justified due to security threats linked to religious observance and a social media campaign against the school's approach to religion.
