Ana Vasudeo has proven herself in many ways: as a voice of common sense, ensuring the district's budget is spent in a results-oriented manner, with data-driven evaluation.
During her tenure as board president, Ana led the campaign to pass Measure H, which renewed the BSEP funding that pays for almost 20% of the district's budget, without which our schools would be unrecognizable.
Ana continues to be the board's voice for school safety, leading efforts to ensure our kids arrive safely at school and creating the district's Safety Committee.
Ana's leadership has fostered a more inclusive district, leading the completion of BUSD's Multilingual Learner Master Plan to support non-English speaking students.
