My kids go to a hybrid school. They're at home with me 2 days a week, and the other 3, they're in a classroom.
Briefly

Transitioning to a hybrid school model has transformed family dynamics positively by reducing emotional outbursts associated with traditional schooling. The flexible schedule allows for significant downtime, which is beneficial for introverted children. While hybrid schools provide advantages, they are not suitable for every family, particularly those with both parents working full-time. Challenges remain, such as occasional frustrations and tantrums, but the overall experience is preferred to the structure of traditional schools and contributes to better emotional well-being at home.
Thursday and Friday nights used to be the worst in our family. After school, my son often...where every little thing could set off a fire-breathing tantrum. Trying his best to be 'good' all week inside the classroom meant his true emotions spilled over at home. His moods wore on all of us.
This school would be nearly impossible for a family to attend if both parents work in an office full-time, so it does alienate many families who are unable to meet the demands of the at-home days, which feels unfair.
