Police said the juvenile made school shooting-related threats Tuesday against Bristow Middle School, a school with 1,100 students southeast of Antioch.
Our community's safety is of utmost importance to us, and we want to reassure everyone that we take these threats very seriously, the department wrote on Facebook.
In both instances, they did not find any weapons, nor uncover any evidence that the suspect planned to follow through on the threats.
