Voters in Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District overwhelmingly supported Measure A parcel tax increase to boost teacher salaries.
The special election cost between $724,000 to $1,086,014 and roughly 27% of registered voters have cast their ballots.
District spokesperson mentioned the need for the tax increase to retain top teacher talent and keep up with education costs in the region.
