Federal agents are investigating possible bribery involving the New York Police Department’s School Safety Division and the company SaferWatch, represented by consulting firm Pearl Alliance.
SaferWatch, known for selling panic buttons to schools, was fast-tracked into NYC schools through actions taken by Philip Banks, the deputy mayor, who is closely linked to the mayor.
