Detectives launched an investigation in October after the student came forward and shared the allegations
The student said the teacher, Bryan Rios, 42, of Santa Clara, inappropriately touched them during class when they attended Theuerkauf Elementary School several years ago, according to police.
Rios was arrested without incident Monday in Santa Clara, according to police. Detectives are concerned Rios may have victimized others, police said.
