Kenneth Decie's charge of making terrorist threats was reduced to making a threat to commit a crime at his court appearance.
Decie allegedly said in a private conversation, 'When something like that happens, it makes me want to go home and get my rifle'.
Decie's lawyer claims his words were taken out of context, suggesting a misunderstanding of the situation.
Decie has been ordered to stay away from Hanover High School and refrain from contacting certain school staff.
