Berkeley Unified accused of failing to protect students against anti-Semitism

The 41-page complaint, filed with the U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights, alleges Jewish and Israeli students have been subjected to an onslaught of anti-Semitic and anti-Israeli hate.
One of the images showed a fist punching through a Star of David while holding a Palestinian flag. The lawsuit claims the messaging has emboldened students to harass Jewish and Israeli students, with instances of derogatory language heard at a middle school walkout.
