Senior Sergio Caldera described the chaos during the shooting: "My teacher goes and opens the door to see what's going on. Another teacher comes running in and tells her to close the door because there's an active shooter. We huddled up as we heard screams from outside and more gunshots."
Kyson Stancion recalled his fear: "I was scared because I've never been in a school shooting. Everybody was crying. My teacher tried to keep everybody safe."
Jonathan Mills shared his feelings as a parent: "It was exhilarating and heartbreaking being outside the school, waiting for news about my son during the shooting incident, an emotional rollercoaster."
