Kien Svay Cafe was located at 609 East 12th St. (at 6th Ave.) in Oakland."
Chef Kyle Itani's Itani Sushi closed its Oakland pop-up on 23rd Street after debuting in June. The Downtown Oakland McDonald's closed permanently after a temporary health-code shutdown and short worker notice. Standard Fare, an 11-year Berkeley bistro, will close Dec. 19 as owner Kelsie Kerr retires.
