Derrick Scott, 29, was shot multiple times around 3 p.m. on Jan. 13. Police say he was driving on the 9400 block of A Street in East Oakland when two gunmen in another car pulled over and opened fire at him. Scott crashed into another vehicle while attempting to avoid the shots.
