Cherished Oakland-born pizzeria to expand with a new Bay Area restaurant
Briefly

Zachary's Chicago Pizza, known for its Chicago-style pizzas, will expand with a new store in Livermore at 2470 First St. The Chief Operating Officer, Leandra Schuler, expressed excitement about becoming part of the vibrant downtown Livermore community. The restaurant will feature both thin-style and signature stuffed pizzas, and has applied for a liquor license to serve alcoholic beverages. Livermore has seen growth in new eateries, and Zachary's plans to join the existing culinary scene, which includes high-profile restaurants. Zachary's operates several locations around the Bay Area and has received numerous local awards.
"We have a great opportunity to open a location right in the heart of downtown Livermore - a fun city and vibrant community. We're excited about the chance to be part of it."
Guests can expect a selection of Zachary's thin-style pizzas and signature "stuffed" pies, such as spinach and mushroom and the classic combination: Italian sausage, green pepper, onion, mushroom and mozzarella.
A bevy of eateries has debuted in the sleepy Bay Area town over the past few years, including brunch destination The Breakfast Club.
Once it's open, Zachary's will join a selection of downtown restaurants that include nearby Michelin Guide-listed Range Life and sourdough bakeshop and restaurant Wingen Bakery.
