Left Bank, the French brasserie renowned for its classic dishes like duck confit and French onion soup, has permanently closed its Oakland location at Jack London Square.
The Cheese Steak Shop has also closed its Berkeley location, which specialized in Philly-style cheese steak sandwiches, leaving its East Bay operations limited to Oakland and Alameda.
