"OAKLAND - A 40-year-old woman was shot Saturday afternoon in East Oakland by a man she had been arguing with, authorities said. The woman, who lives in another area of Oakland, was in stable condition Sunday at a hospital where she was being treated for a wound to her lower leg. The shooting happened about 2:30 p.m. Saturday in a parking lot in the 10100 block of International Boulevard."
