Watch deal turned violent in robbery near UC Berkeley hazmat facility

On Monday evening, a robbery occurred near UC Berkeley's hazmat facility, injuring one person while three suspects escaped, including one in a Spider-Man T-shirt. According to an alert, the incident took place when the suspects met another individual to buy watches. They sprayed the victim with pepper spray and stole the watches before fleeing the scene. A joint search by the University of California Police Department and BART Police was conducted, but the suspects were not found. According to a campuswide WarnMe alert, the robbery unfolded at about 5 p.m. on Frank Schlessinger Way, when three people met with another individual to purchase several watches.
The suspects used pepper spray on the victim, took the watches, and fled westbound,
UCPD and the Bart Police Department searched the area but were unable to locate any suspects matching the description.
