San Jose: 59-year-old man dies after being found unresponsive in his jail cell

Around 10:28 a.m., deputies with the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office discovered the man unresponsive and performed CPR until medical personnel arrived.

The sheriff's office did not identify the man, but said he was booked into jail on Jan. 6 for a violation of his post release community supervision by the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
