Service between the Castro Valley and West Dublin/Pleasanton station stopped after the outage began about 9:30 a.m., BART spokesperson Jim Allison said. The agency is in touch with the utility, he said.
Allison said BART at 10:45 a.m. that BART was working on setting up bus service between Orinda and Rockridge but that it had not done so yet. There was no bus service transporting people between Castro Valley and the Dublin/Pleasanton station, he said.
