The City of Oakley has officially opened a self-service sandbag station to assist residents in flood preparation, located at Ironhouse Sanitary District's yard.
Residents can access the self-service sandbag station conveniently from Main Street across Rose Avenue, promoting easy access for those needing supplies.
The station will operate Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., allowing ample time for residents to prepare their sandbags.
Available at the station are sand, bags, and shovels, providing all necessary materials for residents to create their own sandbags for flood defense.
