Motorcyclist dies on Livermore freeway

Early Tuesday morning, Ryan Lance, 27, from Livermore, was killed in a motorcycle accident on Interstate 580. The incident occurred when he fell from his motorcycle into the traffic lane, leading to him being struck by several vehicles, including a truck that ultimately caught fire. The accident prompted the California Highway Patrol to issue a Sigalert, closing the eastbound lanes for several hours. Thankfully, no other injuries were reported, and traffic lanes were reopened by mid-morning.
