Firefighters, notified by the California Highway Patrol, responded to the site in the 2700 block of Franklin Canyon Road and confirmed the person in the Honda was deceased, said Contra Costa County Fire Protection District Capt. Joe Ottolini.
It turned into just an extrication, Ottolini said.
