Video that police later recovered from a Sunshine Court home showed Banks firing at a man, who returned fire with his own pistol before fleeing the area, authorities said.
When investigators interviewed the 30-year-old suspect, he reportedly denied any involvement in the homicide and said he was scared of the police.
